Ferran Adrià
Ferran Adrià was described as “the best chef in the world” by El País and as the father of “New Nouvelle Cuisine” by The New York Times. Time Magazine included him in its list of “the 100 most influential people in the world” and Le Monde named him as “the alchemist who revolutionises the art of cooking from his restaurant”, elBulli, which since 1997 has been at the highest level of international gastronomy with its three Michelin stars. Best Chef and Best Restaurant in the world according to The Restaurant Magazine, the Food Arts Silver Spoon award and the Clé D´Or de la Gastronomie awarded by the Gault & Millau guide are only three examples of the many accolades given to his work.
